Ones, a family run company, founded in 1872 as a commercial distributor of textile products in the city of Como and in the surrounding areas, during the first years of the 1900's, began its own industrial activity by the acquisition of a small weaving mill who produced silk fabrics. From this moment on, the growth of the company as well as the development and distribution of products was fast and unstoppable. From the 60's onward, aside from the silk fabrics for womenswear distributed for the most part in the Italian market, Ones also presented a wide range of silk like artificial fabrics meant for the designer bridge client which quickly moved outside of the national scene.

Today 75% of the turnover for is made by exports to countries ranging from Europe, The United States, The Far East, Australia and South America. Each season the Ones collection is filled with fabrics that are created with a base of knowledge from archives, a long history of experience and research; with special attention given to the evolution of the markets as well as experimenting with new materials, fibers, finishes, and technologies which permit them to be a modernized line.

In the last years, Ones has dedicated great care to the quality of its products with the creation of their own laboratories for testing before commercialization and during production of the goods. At the same time the mill is dedicated to serving its customers in terms of the creation of specific or modified products apart from the collection as well as respect delivery dates.

Creativity and customer service are two themes that continue to develop, because Ones has always regarded these themes as a top priority and the 5^th generation who has just begun to enter the business will follow in this tradition.
